Higher Learning for Tomorrow: Challenges Ahead. (National exams, samples of selective processes in Latin America).

14:00-15:00 – Panel 08 – Online & Hybrid Learning – Distance Learning Education and Social Inclusion in Latin America (Education aimed at solving social issues) . “MOOCs”, National Programs, Open Universities in Latin America, New Educational Platforms. Technology integrates itself more and more into every aspect of education, and the internet opens up new learning models. This session looks at ways to harness emerging technologies to enhance the reach, quality, affordability and effectiveness of education.
15:00-16:00 – Panel 09 – Education for Full Employment – Some jobs will disappear in the near future. All others will transform radically and many new jobs will be created. Half of all jobs that exist today will disappear by the time children who are now enrolled in primary school graduate. (The organization of curricular structures for training for full employment, short courses, the Bologna process and its feasibility in Latin America).
