MOOCs help online learners improve English Writing skills"College Writing 2x: Principles of Written English", a MOOC hosted on edX last fall by the Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs in partnership with the University of California at Berkeley helped English Language Learners improve their writing skills. The participants learnt key critical thinking skills, as well as grammar, how to control a sentence, and how to proofread. The second module of the course starts in January 16, 2014.
